Habe gerade auf der Suche nach Neuigkeiten von der Denver Tackleshow diese Seite entdeckt: http://www.fieldandstream.com/blogs/how ... show-recap
Dort findet sich u.a. die Meldung, daß Loomis in Zukunft keine Blanks mehr verkaufen wird. Weitere Recherche hat zwar ergeben, daß das in U.S. Foren schon seit April diskutiert wird, aber da ich über die Suche noch nichts zu dem Thema gefunden habe, dachte ich ich poste es mal. Dürfte ja zumindest die Rutenbauer hier interessieren.
In den Staaten erfolgt auch bereits bei einigen Anbietern ein Abverkauf zu verbilligten Preisen. Allerdings ist die Garantiepolitik für diese "Abverkaufblanks" wohl noch nicht ganz klar, das entnehme ich zumindest diesem Forum http://bbcboards.zeroforum.com/zerothread?id=393029 .
Wobei die Beiträge ja schon älter sind und sich das inzwischen auch geändert haben kann.

Loomis zieht sich aus dem Blankgeschäft zurück
Zum Thema Loomisblanks, gab es auchmal diese Mail:
No MORE G. LOOMIS ROD BLANKS to be Offered - END to G. Loomis Blanks "Looming".....................
Effective December 1, 2009 G. Loomis will no longer offer ANY rod blanks for sale. Although we do not necessarily agree with this decision nor pretend to understand it, we do respect this is Loomis' perogative and no doubt has been done for a specific reason.
This said, if you use G. Loomis blanks or know of someone who does ORDER NOW! We're close to "last call" for orders given the lead times we have been seeing on blanks from the factory. We are placing orders every week, so let us know your requirements and we'll make sure we either ship the blanks you need from our enlarged stock or get them on order with the factory to make sure you are not disappointed.
Any order placed by September 30, 2009 will be filled.

- Die Firma G.Loomis (die Firma+Name) gehört seit einiger Zeit zu Shimano. Kann man ja 3mal raten wieso ... und wieso keine Blanks mehr ...
- Bei Gerlinger gibts z.B. G.Loomis Ruten im Ausverkaufspreis, jedoch nur kurze.
- Gary Loomis (die Person) hat schon eine neue Blankfirma mit dem Label North Folk Composites gegründet.
